Cozy Ways to Destress this Fall

Fall is here, and with it comes the return to our busy schedules, school (or homeschool, sigh) commitments, shorter days, and cooler weather. Fall is a favorite season for many because there are lots of fun things to do! That means that there are tons of ways for you to destress and have some Fall fun.

Destressing doesn’t have to be all baths and meditation sessions, though we like those, too. Getting out and doing something fun, active, different, and seasonal can help you decompress from your daily grind. See what strikes your Fall fancy on our big list of ideas:

  • Visit a pumpkin patch and choose your pumpkins to carve
  • Go apple picking
  • Have an apple tasting with family where you slice up multiple varieties of apples and have everyone choose their favorites
  • Go on a car ride and enjoy the beautiful foliage
  • Take a hike in the cool, crisp air
  • Have a scary (or not-so-scary) movie marathon
  • Enjoy a warm drink outside in the morning
  • Rake your leaves and jump in them – remember how fun that used to be?
  • Decorate your house with mini pumpkins, gourds, spooky scenes, and leaves from your yard
  • Choose some new cozy clothes or accessories
  • Watch a new Fall show with your friends using Zoom or host a Netflix watch party
  • Go outside and look at the stars on a clear night
